Local + Global
Local + Global Outreach
At First Covenant, we believe that God has called us to share the love of Christ through compassionate service and mission. We provide a variety of ways that people can give and serve locally and globally by donating items, giving time and gifts and learning more about what it means to be united by faith. Some of the many ways we live out compassionate service at First Covenant: tutoring, transportation ministry, Union Gospel Mission grocery bags, donating food and serving meals at the local Salvation Army, donations and volunteering at the Alley Shoppe, supporting global missionaries, donating money to Covenant World Relief, leading mission trips and praying for our world.
The Alley Shoppe at Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier Street, offers clothing and household items to those in need. You may donate new or gently used items by placing them in the large wooden box in the FCC east entry. The Alley Shoppe is open during the school year, mid September – early May. For an Alley Shoppe brochure, click >here. More information at the Arlington Hills Lutheran Church website: www.ahlc-stp.org . Thank you for your continued support of this partnership.
During the months of September to May, Loaves and Fishes non-profit program is providing and helping to prepare our Wednesday night dinners. For more information, please contact Judy Kline, email@example.com . For more information about Loaves and Fishes, visit www.loavesandfishesmn.org .

Thank you to all who helped with Giving Christmas Away 2015

Mission Trip 2014: International Falls
Sunday, July 6 through Sunday, July 13
"International" and "Intergenerational." These are the words that describe the 2014 mission trip to International Falls.
Thirty-two youth and adults left after worship on July 6 for a week of serving alongside the Covenant Church of International Falls, Minnesota. In addition to learning more about the city and needs of International Falls, our ministry opportunities included: light home repair (roofing, painting, yard work); serving at the Christian Motorcyclists Association ( CMA ) Rally (hosted at the Covenant Church of International Falls, July 9-12) both behind the scenes and alongside CMA attendees; excursions and other opportunities. We were blessed to partner with International Falls Covenant Church to provide key outreach both to members of the church as well as the community.
