Our Life Together

Love Mercy Do Justice functions as a hub of people and resources to live out the commandment in Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

We strive to provide clarity and a deeper connection to First Covenant Church’s value of being an intentionally inter-cultural and inter-generational church. It is our godly calling to one another as members of the body of Christ – we are all dependent on one another for life. And we are commanded to be disciples to all nations and all people. Romans 12:4-5; Matthew 28:19; Revelation 7:9.

We strive to make First Covenant Church an oasis from the oppression of our world, and we will lift up the voices of the full community, and particularly the voices often silenced or marginalized in the broader culture, to lend greater awareness to the reality of our brothers and sisters in Christ and to actively break down the barriers they face. Isaiah1:17.
