Due to the continued skyrocketing COVID cases, alarming shortage of ICU beds in the Twin Cities (see:, and the ongoing stresses and strains COVID is putting on our families, our ministry team and leadership team have made the decision to move to solely livestream worship for the remaining weeks of January (16th, 23rd and 30th). We are hopeful and somewhat confident this will give the time needed for cases in the Twin Cities to peak and then dramatically decrease, allowing for us to safely return to in-person worship on February 6th.

In addition, we will be moving our midweek gatherings online as well. Google Meet and Zoom links will be provided in weekly emails as well as from small group leaders.

For Wednesday, January 12, our links and plans are:
  • Wednesday Morning Bible Study at 9:30am will meet on Google Meet (click here to join or join by phone (US) +1 475-329-8503 (PIN: 714548077)
  • Youth Group will meet at 6:15pm on Google Meet (click here to join)
  • Wednesday Evening HUB Group will meet at 6:15pm on Zoom (click here to join, password is 1280Arcade)
  • The Bible Unwrapped will meet at 6:15pm on Google Meet (click here to join)
  • No Handbell rehearsal or Sanctuary Choir rehearsals

Currently First Covenant's partners are continuing to meet in person for their worship services, and some First Covenant Church meetings are still happening in person. Please check with the church office if you have any questions.

For Sunday, January 16, our links and plans are:

  • Join us for livestream worship at 9:30am on YouTube here (click here for livestream worship)
  • at 10:45am we will gather on Zoom for an opportunity to discuss the morning's worship service and connect together. (click here to join, password is 1280Arcade)
  • there is no Children's or Youth Sunday School this week. Confirmation will re-start on Google Hangouts beginning Sunday, January 23.

  • Masks are required for everyone ages 2 and up throughout the entire building. We have disposable masks available at the entrance, but bringing your own cuts down on costs and waste. When we are meeting in person for worship speakers may remove their masks while speaking from the lectern, face coverings will be promptly put back into place when they are done.
  • The best COVID precautions begin at home. Before attending a meeting at FCC ask those in your household: Does anyone have any new or worsening COVID-19 symptoms? Is anyone a close contact of someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19? If you, or anyone in your household, can answer yes to these questions and have not received a negative COVID test, we ask that you join worship on our livestream. If you are eligible, and have not yet received your vaccines and booster shot, we cannot urge you strongly enough to get this layer of protection for yourself, and the vulnerable around you, from severe illness or death. This isn't political, it's about loving your neighbor.
