Discovery Camp 2022 is just for incoming PreK - 5th graders on Monday, July 25 - Thursday, July 28 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm at First Covenant Church of Saint Paul.

At Discovery Camp we're marveling at the created world, encouraging a holy curiosity, and discovering God all around us. Questions and creativity are encouraged as we discover together who we're created to be, that we're loved by Jesus, and how we live out that love. Cost: $5 per camper, $20 max per family. Scholarships available.

Camp doesn't happen without a team of youth and adults! Volunteers are needed to assist with: registration, small group leaders and helpers, set up and clean up, first-aid, and floaters.

Hang tight while we look up scheduled events...

Big g's neighborhood

a place for children ages birth - 5th grade to Belong, Believe, and Become

Belong - a safe place for children & their families to be known and accepted.

Believe - a place where the foundation of Christian faith begins.  The children are encouraged to wonder, ask questions, and grow through teaching and healthy relationships with their peers and trusted adults.

Become - a place where lives can be transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit, and become world changers for Christ.

Meet the little p's of big g's neighborhood!

When our worship services were online, the Little P's (our Children's Ministry puppet troupe) were formed. The Little P's bring fun that's fit for kids and enjoyed by all ages to our worship services. Recently the Little P's have joined with the team at Farnsworth Aerospace Magnet School to bring fun-filled reading, puppet style, into the classroom.

Check out the Little P's greatest hits below. More coming soon!

Ministry is maximized by our volunteers. We love our volunteers and value the impact they make in the lives of our children. First Covenant’s Children and Family Ministry believes in equipping and empowering our volunteers to serve, love, and care for our children.

We do this by:

  • Maintaining a safe adult to child ratio in our programs.

  • Enforcing safe bathroom and safety procedures.

  • Ensuring that our volunteers are trained and have successfully passed background checks before serving.
